Sleep deprivation can modulate the immune response and is a risk factor for cardiovascular, metabolic disease, depression-the same comorbidities that are associated with psoriasis. Many psoriasis patients report subjective sleep disturbance characterized by difficulties initiating maintaining sleep, as well shortened duration.
